Job Description

Teaching Assistant - Specialist SEND School. Location: Chaldon, Surrey. Salary: £13.51 - £14.45 per hour. Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (Term Time Only). Bonus: £1,000 Welcome Bonus*. The Opportunity: Are you a proactive and creative individual looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people? We are recruiting for a brand-new, specialist SEND school in Chaldon. This modern setting supports students aged 11-16 with social communication, emotional regulation, and sensory processing needs, typically associated with Autism. With small class sizes and a multi-disciplinary approach, you will have the environment and resources needed to provide truly person-centred support.

Requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English (Level 2/Functional Skills minimum)
  • A 'can-do' attitude and the ability to think outside the box
  • A patient, empathetic nature with a passion for supporting neurodivergent young people
  • A willingness to take advantage of fully funded, nationally recognised training and qualifications
