Teaching Assistant

• Support students throughout all parts of their day, including learning sessions, personal care and mealtimes
• Help create a stimulating learning environment following the principles of Conductive Education
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and colleagues as part of a transdisciplinary team
• Assist with planning, record-keeping and the creation of individual student goals
• Promote safety, wellbeing and safeguarding at all times
• Provide consistent, compassionate, high-quality care

• Empathetic, supportive and committed to promoting independence
• Able to communicate clearly, work as part of a team and use your initiative confidently
• Adaptable, reliable, and motivated with a positive approach to young people
• Willing to fully participate in all aspects of school life
• Confidence in working in a hands-on environment (physical interaction, facilitation and movement of equipment)
