Job Description:

Psychology placement opportunity at an Outstanding Primary school in Bexley for students or graduates looking to gain school-based experience working with children with special educational needs.

Job Responsibility:

Providing support to class teachers within the classroom
Assisting children with SEND/SEMH needs 1:1 and in small groups
Working closely with 2 children who are non-verbal
Supporting pupils in and out of lessons
Monitoring and recording interventions

Requirements:

Psychology student or graduate
Strong academics
Passion for working with children with SEND/SEMH needs
Previous experience with children and SEN/SEMH needs
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience working with Non-Verbal children
Previous experience working 1:1
Resilient and able to overcome challenges
