Job Description:

Location: Various High Schools across Liverpool (L1-L25) As we head into the final term of the academic year, we are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to support students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 to join our team in Liverpool. This is a critical time for our schools as they prepare for GCSE examinations and transition periods. You will work within a vibrant secondary environment, ensuring every student has the tools to succeed.

Job Responsibility:

Assist subject teachers with general classroom management
Support small groups of students with their daily classwork
Help prepare learning materials and classroom displays
Provide a positive presence during hall duties and break times
Assist with administrative tasks to keep the school day running smoothly
Guide students through revision tasks during the exam season.

Requirements:

Experience: Previous experience in a coaching, mentoring, youth-work or education setting.
Communication: Strong verbal and written English to effectively support student learning.
Compliance: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a commitment to apply for one).
Reliability: Excellent punctuality and a commitment to the school's term-time schedule.
