Job Description:

We are seeking a committed and proactive Teaching Assistant to join our Northwich Campus, supporting pupils within a small class setting to access learning, build confidence, and make meaningful progress across the curriculum. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with teaching staff to deliver high-quality, inclusive support in a structured and supportive learning environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support teaching and learning across the curriculum, including SEND provision
  • Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group support to reinforce learning objectives
  • Promote independence, positive behaviour, and pupil engagement
  • Assist with preparation of learning resources and classroom organisation
  • Contribute to a structured, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in an education or specialist support setting
  • Strong understanding of SEND and inclusive classroom practice
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Confident supporting learning in both structured and flexible environments
  • Committed to safeguarding, pupil wellbeing, and continuous professional development
