Job Responsibility:

  • Advanced intervention: Implement complex EHCP goals and follow tailored learning pathways
  • Multidisciplinary synergy: Work as an equal alongside an on-site team of Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and specialised teaching staff
  • Behavioural expertise: Use resilience and de-escalation skills within a positive, low-arousal environment
  • Beyond the classroom: Utilise our extensive 23-acre site to facilitate high-quality outdoor learning and community-based life skills

Requirements:

  • Proven track record: Experience working with complex needs (ASC, SLCN, or SEMH)
  • Adaptable communication: Proficiency in (or a desire to master) Makaton, PECS, or other AAC methods
  • Professional maturity: Understand how to maintain boundaries while building deep rapport
  • Leadership potential: Willingness to share expertise and mentor newer members of the support team
