Job Description:

Make a Difference in a Supportive School Environment. A primary school in Burgess Hill is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide support for children with additional needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children in a small group setting and is eager to make a positive impact on their learning. Start date is January 2024, with hours from 8:30am-12:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Job Responsibility:

Work Monday to Friday, 8:30am-12:30pm
Provide support for children with additional needs
Work with a small group of students with diverse needs
Create a nurturing environment
Work effectively as part of a team
Commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Requirements:

Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting
A patient, caring, and supportive approach to working with children with additional needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous but not essential
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
