Job Description:

Teaching Assistant’s Wanted for Newport. Teaching Assistants are a crucial part of the education workforce in Wales. The role of a Teaching Assistant is vital to supporting and motivating children in Wales. Job Responsibility:

Assist with preparing lessons in all areas of the school curriculum with consideration of varied levels of student abilities
Provide simulating activities whilst ensuring hygiene and safety rules
Maintain a supportive and clean classroom environment
Be attentive to the unique needs of each student and be able to identify proper solutions when children encounter issues

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 months experience inside a UK Primary or Secondary classroom or teaching assistant environment
Minimum of NVQ Level 2, CACHE Level 2, BTEC, BA (Hons) Education or experience working within an education setting
Ability to follow instructions and maintain a positive attitude
Great communication skills to collaborate with other teachers and families when needed
