Job Description

Teaching Assistant's Wanted for Tredegar. Salary from £93 per day. Education Supply Pool are a PAYE Employer recruiting Teaching Assistants to support day to day, short-term and long-term positions on the behalf of schools for Tredegar and its surrounding areas. We are looking for someone with a minimum of NVQ Level 2, CACHE Level 2, BTEC, BA (Hons) Education or experience working within an education setting. Teaching Assistants are a crucial part of the education workforce in Wales. The role of a Teaching Assistant is vital to supporting and motivating children in Wales. Job Responsibility

  • Supporting and motivating children in Wales
  • Assist with preparing lessons in all areas of the school curriculum
  • Provide simulating activities whilst ensuring hygiene and safety rules
  • Maintain a supportive and clean classroom environment
  • Be attentive to the unique needs of each student
  • Identify proper solutions when children encounter issues
  • Collaborate with other teachers and families when needed

Requirements

  • Minimum of NVQ Level 2, CACHE Level 2, BTEC, BA (Hons) Education or experience working within an education setting
  • Minimum of 3 months experience inside a UK Primary or Secondary classroom or teaching assistant environment
  • Assist with preparing lessons in all areas of the school curriculum with consideration of varied levels of student abilities
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain a positive attitude
  • Provide simulating activities whilst ensuring hygiene and safety rules
  • Maintain a supportive and clean classroom environment
  • Be attentive to the unique needs of each student and be able to identify proper solutions when children encounter issues
  • Great communication skills to collaborate with other teachers and families when needed
