Job Description:

Randstad is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants for a rewarding temporary-to-permanent position at a specialist school supporting students with complex needs. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, offering an excellent opportunity to transition into a permanent position after a successful 12-week temporary period.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting students aged 5-18 in a small class setting (4-5 students)
  • working alongside experienced teachers and other teaching assistants in a well-resourced environment
  • supporting students with diverse learning needs and potential behavioural challenges

Requirements:

  • Commitment to working with students with complex needs (including autism and physical disabilities)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Enhanced DBS check (Child and Adult)
  • Full-time availability, Monday to Friday
  • Driving license is highly recommended due to location and public transport limitations
