We're looking for a talented Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in fostering a positive and effective learning environment. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting pupils with their academic work, offering both individual and group assistance; Creating a safe and supportive learning environment specifically tailored for students with SEMH needs; Collaborating closely with teachers to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs); Monitoring pupil progress and providing valuable feedback to teachers; Assisting with classroom management and implementing effective behaviour support strategies; Building positive relationships with pupils and their families, fostering trust and open communication; Participating enthusiastically in school events and activities. Who We're Looking For: The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting children with SEMH needs and possess: Experience working with children with SEMH needs; A genuinely patient, understanding, and empathetic approach; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Strong classroom management skills; The ability to work effectively as part of a team; A relevant qualification in education or a related field is desirable, but not essential.
