This warm and welcoming school is currently seeking a Teaching assistant to join their team. This role is needed due to a current member of the team retiring after 25 years! This setting currently supports 60 pupils between the ages of 4 and 19 years. This setting offers every learner a tailored and 1:1 education that truly changes their lives. It supports children with moderate and severe learning difficulties including but not limited to Autism. This setting boasts bright transitional spaces, inviting and modern classrooms, state of the art recreational areas, outdoor learning spaces and some added extras including a yoga studio, sensory rooms, state of the art gym and a staff relaxation room! This position is needed on a permanent basis and is a Part time opportunity. Applicants for this position must be available a minimum 3 days a week. The working week is Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30pm. Full training will be provided and you will have immediate access to free and fully funded qualifications. This school and team is invested in the staff's futures as well as the learners. Job Responsibility:
Supporting in the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons and educational activities
Supporting learners with SEN on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis
Requirements:
Experience (voluntary or paid) working with children and young adults
Relevant SEN experience (desirable)
GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
Eligibility to work in the UK
