Job Description

Primary Teaching Assistant Role in Redhill, Surrey. Randstad Education is seeking dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants to join various excellent schools in the Redhill, Surrey area. This is a Full-Time, Term-Time Only position offering a competitive salary based on your experience.

Job Responsibility

  • Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
  • providing one-on-one or small group support to students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • helping with classroom management and maintaining a positive, inclusive environment
  • preparing teaching resources and assisting with school activities

Requirements

  • Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting
  • a patient, caring, and positive approach to education
  • excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • a strong commitment to safeguarding children (an enhanced DBS check is essential)
  • relevant qualifications are a bonus but not strictly required
