Job Description:

Teaching Assistant | Special Needs Education | SEMH & ASC Focus. This is a term-time-only Teaching Assistant position for 36 hours per week, focused on supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC).

Job Responsibility:

Providing direct support to pupils, both individually and in small groups
Working with teachers to implement lesson plans and educational activities
Monitoring student progress and assisting with assessment records
Maintaining a positive and organised learning environment

Requirements:

GCSEs in Maths and English or an equivalent qualification
Prior experience working with children
Strong teamwork and communication skills
A calm, reassuring, and responsive demeanor
