Job Responsibility
Group Support: Guide individuals or lead small groups to boost confidence in core subjects like reading and writing
Teacher Partnership: Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation, resource setups, classroom tidying, and basic marking
Pupil Welfare: Provide vital support during break times, lunch hours, school trips, and offer extra care for children with special educational needs (SEN)
Positive Culture: Establish strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families while maintaining excellent classroom management and handling challenging behavior with a positive attitude
Requirements
A recognized Teaching Assistant Qualification (Level 2 or Level 3)
Proven experience working with young people within a primary school setting
Reliable classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate children
Strong communication skills and the adaptability to thrive across diverse school environments
A current Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (essential for an immediate start)
