Job Description:

Randstad is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a brand-new specialist provision in the St Helier area. This is a full-time, term-time only position, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing direct assistance with teaching, learning activities, and personal care
  • Contributing to effective classroom management and fostering a positive learning atmosphere
  • Collaborating effectively with the teaching team, adhering to school policies and guidelines

Requirements:

  • Proven experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)
  • A passion for working with children and a commitment to inclusive education
  • Experience in a similar role is highly desirable
  • CACHE level 1 or 2
  • CACHE level 2 or 3
  • Early childhood studies degree
  • Health and social care experience
  • Health and social care qualifications (NVQ)
  • HLTA
  • NVQ level 2
  • NVQ level 3
  • NVQ level 4
