Job Description:

Teaching Assistant Required for a Secondary School in Horsham. Are you passionate about education and eager to make a difference in the lives of young learners? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a team at a well-regarded school in Horsham. Job Responsibility:

  • Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of learning activities
  • Work with small groups or individual students to provide additional support and intervention
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Help with the management of classroom resources and materials
  • Support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities
  • Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and any issues that arise

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
  • A genuine passion for education and helping students achieve their potential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential
