We are a dedicated recruitment agency partnering with primary and early years settings, and we're looking for an exceptional Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to provide vital one-to-one support to a child. Job Responsibility:

  • One-to-One Support: Focusing on both the child's academic progress and personal, social, and emotional development
  • Tailored Learning: Implementing specific learning and development plans under the guidance of the Class Teacher or SENCO
  • Emotional & Social Support: Offering a consistent and vital source of encouragement
  • Positive Environment: Fostering an inclusive, encouraging, and structured learning atmosphere

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children, preferably within an early years or primary school setting
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent, relevant experience
  • Understanding of child development and best practices for SEN assistance
  • Enhanced DBS check (ideally registered on the Update Service)
