Job Responsibility:
Individual Support: Providing 1:1 assistance to students with specific learning needs, including those with EHCPs for ASD, ADHD, or SEMH
Classroom Management: Working alongside the Class Teacher to maintain an orderly and positive learning environment
Intervention Delivery: Leading small group literacy and numeracy sessions to boost attainment
Sensory Regulation: Implementing de-escalation strategies and utilizing quiet spaces or sensory rooms when students feel overwhelmed
Safeguarding: Acting as a professional point of contact for students while strictly adhering to school safeguarding protocols
Requirements:
Empathy & Patience: A genuine desire to support the "whole child" and help them flourish
Communication Skills: The ability to adapt your language to suit the needs of individual learners, including the use of visual aids or AAC where necessary
Team Players: Someone who can collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and external therapists
Experience (Preferred): Previous experience in a school setting or a background in childcare, psychology, or sports coaching is highly advantageous
Location: Must be able to commute easily to the Bromley (BR2) area
