Job Responsibility
Work with groups of 8-13 students grouped by ability
Assist with literacy, numeracy, and PSHE using multi-sensory tools (Makaton, signs, and symbols)
Support students through moments of anxiety or frustration with a calm, patient approach
Provide essential care and hygiene support
Requirements
Strong literacy and numeracy skills
Emotional and physical resilience to meet the demands of a specialist environment
A 'can-do' attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team
Nice to have
Background in youth work
Experience in administering medication
Experience with autism spectrum disorders
Experience with learning difficulties
Experience with social emotional mental health
Mentor experience
