Teaching Assistant

• Assist in planning and evaluating learning activities
• Provide valuable feedback on student progress and achievement
• Monitor, assess, record, and report on pupils' progress in line with school policies
• Support positive behaviour and focus, adapting your approach as needed
• Promote spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development, and uphold British values within the PSHE framework
• Foster students' cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development, and spiritual well-being through a holistic curriculum
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to assist where needed in the dynamic SEN environment

• Experience in an SEN role, either employed or voluntary
• Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (essential for student carpooling on a rota basis)
• Recognised Level 2 or higher qualification in Support Work for Teaching and Learning in Schools (desirable)
• GCSE Maths and English Level 2/C or above (essential)
• Knowledge of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures
• Experience with pupils with SEN or SEMH/ASD
• A child-first approach, recognising and responding to each student's individuality
• Creativity and positivity in meeting pupils' needs
