We are looking for adaptable and proactive Teaching Assistants to support students in Liverpool's most diverse and fast-moving secondary schools. Job Responsibility:
Deliver 1:1 or small group support to help students master difficult subjects
Assist the class teacher in managing classroom behaviour and keeping students on task
Adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students
Supervise students during practical lessons and experiments to ensure safety
Keep a close eye on student progress and provide simple, encouraging feedback
Prepare the classroom environment and resources before each lesson begins
Act as a reliable mentor and positive role model for teenagers
Support the school's pastoral team in ensuring student well being and safety
Requirements:
A passion for education and helping young people reach their full potential
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a busy team
A professional manner and the resilience to handle a secondary school environment
A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
