Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting complex children to reach their full potential, and a creative approach to meeting needs and enhancing curriculum delivery.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work collaboratively, supporting the teacher as part of a class staff team
  • Deliver education sessions
  • Create a welcoming environment where all children and their parents feel valued and supported
  • Use an understanding of each pupil’s individual needs to help them grow into successful adults

Requirements:

  • Teaching Assistant Level 3 Diploma (or equivalent) or be willing to work towards this
  • Understanding of Autism
  • Positive attitude and willingness to reflect and develop
  • Prepared to learn about a variety of approaches to engage pupils and overcome barriers to learning
  • Ability to think creatively and flexibly
  • Share school values of Kindness, Integrity and Team First
