Job Description

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity? Do you want a career where you can make a difference to the lives of children every day? Do you have experience working with children with ALN? Randstad Education are currently recruiting for experienced Teaching Assistants for various roles across North Wales. Opportunities range from flexible day-to-day supply to long-term posts.

Job Responsibility

  • Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to provide support during lessons
  • Provide general support to the class teacher, such as setting up the classroom for lessons
  • Support pupils with ALN and develop strategies to best support their needs
  • Liaise with the class teacher and any other relevant professionals to discuss pupil progress
  • Provide additional support with lunch and break duties where needed
  • Report any concerns to the SENCo

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in Education or similar role
  • ALN experience
  • Level 2/3 Childcare qualification (desirable)
  • Enhanced Child DBS (or willingness to apply)
  • EWC Registration (or willingness to apply)
