Teaching assistant

• Provide tailored support to individual students and small groups, adapting learning materials and strategies to meet their unique needs
• Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and contribute to the ongoing assessment and progress monitoring of students
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where every student feels valued and can thrive
• Support student's social, emotional, and communication development, promoting independence and confidence
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in SEN education

• 6-12 months experience working in SEN or SEMH settings, specifically within a school or educational environment
• Proven experience working with challenging behaviours in an educational context
• UK-based experience is essential
• Excellent spoken and written English is a must
• A pass grade in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) is required
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this role

Transferable skills from other care-focused roles, such as SEN care, residential care, personal assistant to SEN, or fostering
