Job Description:

A primary school in Forest Row seeks a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide one-on-one support for a child with Cerebral Palsy during mornings for the academic year.

Job Responsibility:

Provide one-on-one support to a child with cerebral palsy
adapt approach to meet individual needs and promote the child’s development
create an inclusive classroom environment
inspire and support the child’s progress

Requirements:

Experience working with children
strong interpersonal and communication skills
patience and empathy
adaptability and flexibility
commitment to inclusion
a positive and encouraging attitude
relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or working with children with disabilities are advantageous but not essential
a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
