They are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their supportive and professional team.
Job Responsibility:
Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with special educational needs
Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities and ensuring that individual education plans (IEPs) are followed
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting independence and personal development
Support students with personal care, communication, and social skills where required
Help with classroom preparation, resource management, and ensuring a safe, clean environment for all
Work collaboratively with therapists and the wider multidisciplinary team to support students' holistic development
Requirements:
A passion for working with children and young adults with special educational needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards overcoming challenges
Relevant experience in a similar role or an educational setting is desirable but not essential - full training will be provided
Willingness to support students with personal care needs
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
