Job Description:

Teaching Assistant role with opportunity to train to teach. Work with secondary school students, support classroom activities, and gain hands-on experience before potential teacher training program.

Job Responsibility:

Support students across Key Stages (KS3, KS4, KS5) 1-2-1 and in small groups running interventions, academic booster session and revision sessions
Support students in chosen subject specialism
Support students with mild to moderate SEN i.e. Autism, Speech and Language, SEMH etc
Full classroom support alongside qualified class teachers and exceptional leaders

Requirements:

Graduate with 1st Class or 2:1 degree
Strong A Levels and GCSEs across the board - especially in chosen subject specialism
Evident passion for inspiring young people
General understanding of potential routes into teaching
Resilience, Can-Do Attitude & Positive Demeanour

Nice to have:

Experience like tutoring, mentoring, summer camps or childcare

Scope to go onto a Permanent Contract and Salaried Teacher Training from Sept 26
