Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join our exceptional school in Cranleigh, Surrey. We provide a nurturing, stimulating, and innovative environment for children aged 7-19 with autism spectrum conditions (ASC). Job Responsibility:

Provide support to students in the classroom
Assist teachers with lessons
Provide individualised support
Create a positive learning environment
Collaborate with the class teacher
Implement personalized learning plans
Support students with a range of needs
Provide help with behavioural management
Provide personal care as required
Promote a sense of safety, belonging, and well-being
Participate in training and professional development

Requirements:

A valid DBS check
A full driving licence (preferred)
A genuine passion for working with children with autism spectrum conditions
Patient, caring, and enthusiastic about supporting learners
Experience working in education, children's homes, or EYFS (desirable)
Experience with Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECs) or other communication tools for non-verbal learners (desirable)
Experience with speech & language or BSL (desirable)
