Job Description:

Join a supportive team as a Teaching Assistant at a school for 11-16-year-olds with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, blending traditional academic values with specialised approaches. Full training is provided, and the role offers opportunities to shape the future of students.

Job Responsibility:

Build strong, supportive connections with students, boosting their confidence and well-being
Encourage independence and uphold high standards of behaviour and engagement
Assist in creating and delivering exciting, tailored learning activities
Support teachers in managing the classroom and ensuring smooth daily operations
Respond to the unique needs of each student with flexibility and creativity

Requirements:

A positive attitude and a real passion for working with young people
GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
No previous experience needed - full training is provided
