Job Description:

We are recruiting Teaching Assistants for primary schools across Eastbourne, supporting pupils in class and on a 1:1 basis. These roles are ideal for experienced TAs who are proactive, nurturing and understand the realities of busy classrooms.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting pupils during lessons and small group work
  • Working alongside the class teacher to support learning
  • Assisting with routines, transitions and engagement
  • Supporting pupils with additional needs where required

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (mandatory)
  • Previous school or child-based experience
  • Calm, patient and reliable
  • Confident working as part of a team
