Job Description

Teaching Assistant – Secondary School (Mainstream) | Crawley | Flexible Opportunities. Do you enjoy working with young people and want a role where you can genuinely make a difference every single day? Pink Tile Education is working with a number of welcoming mainstream secondary schools in Crawley who are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and positive individuals to join them as Teaching Assistants.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting students in lessons across a range of subjects
  • Helping young people stay focused, engaged, and confident in their learning
  • Working 1:1 or in small groups to provide extra support where needed
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and helping create a calm learning environment
  • Building strong, supportive relationships with students
  • Assisting teaching staff with classroom activities and resources

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Available 3–5 days per week (term time only)
  • Availability between 08:30 – 15:30
  • Right to work in the UK

Nice to have

Backgrounds such as youth work, sports coaching, tutoring, care work, or customer-facing roles (all transferable!)
