Job Description:

A leading and ‘Outstanding’ primary school in Merton is looking for a Reception (Early Years) Teaching Assistant to join their hardworking, friendly team in September 2025. The role involves supporting learning in the classroom, attending to students’ personal needs, and assisting with students with special educational needs. The position provides opportunities for creative and engaging work in a vibrant and supportive school environment.

Job Responsibility:

Provide support to pupils across EYFS
Work with groups of children to carry out valuable interventions
Assist with students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, Speech and Language issues
Use your creativity and imagination to excite the pupils

Requirements:

A graduate with a strong academic background
A passion for education, EYFS and creating an inspirational environment for children to flourish within
Creative and confident to use your innovation to create fun and exciting activities
Great communication and interpersonal skills
