Teaching Assistant

• Support students in their learning, both in and out of the classroom
• Work closely with teachers to deliver high-quality educational and therapeutic support
• Help manage challenging behaviours in a calm, consistent manner
• Assist in the creation of a positive learning environment that promotes personal development
• Encourage students to achieve their personal and academic goals
• Contribute to student assessments, progress tracking, and feedback for parents/carers

• Experience working with children with SEMH, ASD, or special educational needs (SEN) is preferred but not essential
• A caring, patient, and empathetic attitude
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• A flexible and proactive approach to supporting students in a variety of learning situations
