Job Description:

Teaching Assistants Needed for lovely schools across Horsham, supporting KS1 and Early Years pupils with additional needs. A role where you can truly make a difference each day.

Job Responsibility:

  • General classroom support
  • Targeted SEN support
  • Working alongside experienced teachers and fantastic SENCOs
  • Helping create a calm, positive learning environment
  • Supporting phonics, early literacy, numeracy and play‑based activities

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting children with SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs, etc.)
  • Warm, patient and child‑centred approach
  • Confident building relationships with young learners
  • Reliable, friendly and professional
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Someone who genuinely loves helping children progress
  • Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services
