Job Description

Make a Difference in the Classroom! Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work opportunities in a variety of schools? Randstad Education is seeking passionate individuals to join our network of partner schools in East Grinstead, Crawley, Lingfield, and Horsham.

Job Responsibility

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and fostering a positive learning environment
  • Provide individual and small group support to students who need additional help
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior support
  • Prepare and organize teaching materials and resources
  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN) as required
  • Participate in school activities, events, and parent meetings as needed

Requirements

  • Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting
  • A patient, caring, and supportive approach to working with children
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous but not essential
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
