Job Description:

This role involves supporting pupils with additional needs, working 1:1 and in small groups to help them engage with learning and build confidence in a nurturing classroom environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting pupils with SEN in the classroom
  • Working 1:1 and in small groups to support learning and engagement
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Working closely with teaching staff to support pupils’ individual needs

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting children with SEN
  • A calm, patient, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Provide suitable references for pre-employment checks
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the Children’s Workforce (or Children’s & Adults’) update service, or be willing to obtain one
  • Right to work in the UK or hold a valid work visa
