Affinity Partnerships are looking for a part-time Learning Support Assistant to work within a single form entry school. This role is typically worked over two days (Thursday: 6 hours, Friday: 6 hours), with flexibility around the working pattern to be discussed at interview. This is an exciting opportunity to empower students to reach their full potential by delivering tailored support that enhances learning, engagement, and well-being. The successful candidate will support students in accessing the curriculum, engaging with their learning, and achieving their full potential through the implementation of planned learning activities in collaboration with the class teacher. You will deliver measurable impact on student attainment as well as their social and emotional well-being, working collaboratively with colleagues to fulfil the requirements of the role. This role is permanent and is to start in September 2026 for the new school year. Affinity Partnerships also offer temporary roles across a number of different schools if the successful candidate is looking for extra hours.

Requirements
Have a sound understanding of Primary and Secondary Education
Have excellent literacy, Numeracy, and communication skills
Have confidence supporting the KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4 curriculum
Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum
Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour
Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties both in smalls groups and 1:1
Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
