Job Responsibility:

Collaborate with children individually or in small groups to enhance their learning
Assist the class teacher in resource preparation and activity setup
Support children across the curriculum and help mark work
Provide extra support to children with special educational needs (SEN)
Serve as a positive role model and foster strong relationships with families
Help oversee break times, school trips, and classroom tidying
Report on student progress and attend staff meetings

Requirements:

Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Previous experience working with young people in a classroom setting
Strong class management skills and the ability to handle challenging behavior
Comfortable guiding individuals and engaging children in their learning
A positive "can-do" attitude and effective communication skills
Confidence in leading small group interventions (Literacy/Numeracy)

FMS experience
key stage 1 experience
key stage 2 experience
knowledge of curriculum
CACHE level 1 or 2
CACHE level 2 or 3
early childhood studies degree
health and social care experience
