Job Description

Pink Tile Education is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a lovely secondary school in Lancing. Job Responsibility

  • Provide 1:1 support to students with additional needs, helping them access the curriculum and build confidence
  • Support small group learning, adapting activities to meet different abilities and learning styles
  • Assist in classroom management, helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support students’ personal and social development, encouraging engagement, independence, and positive behaviour
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to implement learning plans and provide feedback on student progress

Requirements

  • A caring and motivated individual who enjoys supporting young people in a secondary school setting
  • Experience working in a school or educational environment is desirable but not essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
  • Ability to provide 1:1 and group support tailored to the needs of individual students
  • A current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
  • Flexible, patient, and proactive approach to supporting both learning and wellbeing
