Job Description

Are you a passionate and supportive individual ready to make a real difference in a child's education? Randstad Education is seeking dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of excellent schools across Horsham, West Sussex. In this vital role, you'll support the learning and development of young students by assisting teachers, providing one-on-one and small group support, and helping to create an inclusive classroom environment. This position offers a competitive salary and is available on a full-time or part-time basis during term time.

Job Responsibility

  • Support class teachers in delivering engaging lessons
  • Provide targeted assistance to students who need extra help
  • Help maintain a positive and safe classroom atmosphere
  • Assist with preparing teaching materials and resources
  • Support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) when required

Requirements

  • Experience working with children, preferably in a primary school
  • A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding children (enhanced DBS check required)
  • Relevant qualifications are a plus, but not essential
