Job Description:

Teaching Assistant role at a Secondary School in Wandsworth for high-achieving graduates interested in teaching. The role is guaranteed for one full academic year with potential to train to teach from September 2026 on a salaried teacher training SCITT program.

Job Responsibility:

Support students across Key Stages (KS3, KS4, KS5) 1-2-1 and in small groups running interventions, academic booster session and revision sessions
Support students in chosen subject specialism (any subjects like English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Social Sciences, Languages)
Support students with mild to moderate SEN i.e. Autism, Speech and Language, SEMH etc
Full classroom support alongside qualified class teachers and exceptional leaders

Requirements:

Graduate with 1st Class or 2:1 degree
Strong A Levels and GCSEs across the board - especially in chosen subject specialism
Evident passion for inspiring young people
General understanding of potential routes into teaching
Resilience, Can-Do Attitude & Positive Demeanour

Nice to have:

Experience like tutoring, mentoring, summer camps or childcare

What we offer:

Paid weekly
Daily rates between £105 - £120 per day (Term Time Only)
Monday to Friday, School Hours Typically 8am - 4pm (no weekends)
Scope to go onto a Permanent Contract and Salaried Teacher Training from Sept 26
