Job Responsibility:
Supporting Teachers: Assisting the classroom teacher to ensure lessons run smoothly and are inclusive for all learners
Facilitating Learning: Helping students with varied needs access and engage with a differentiated curriculum
Cultivating Positivity: Actively contributing to a safe, welcoming, and productive school environment
Targeted Support: Providing one-on-one or small group support to help students with their learning objectives, managing tasks, and overcoming academic or social-emotional challenges
Differentiated Assistance: Working with students across the SEN spectrum, adapting support methods to individual Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans
Classroom Management: Assisting in maintaining a focused and calm atmosphere, supporting behavioural and learning strategies set by the teacher
Student Well-being: Being a trusted point of contact, assisting with the pastoral care and overall well-being of the students, especially those facing SEMH difficulties
