Job Description

Affinity Workforce Solutions are working in partnership with multi-academy trusts across Weston-Super-Mare, who are looking for enthusiastic teaching assistants. We are looking for both full and part-time candidates.

Requirements

Experience working with children (as a teaching assistant or other work involving children)
Confidence in working with children with a variety of learning abilities and needs
Be encouraging and positive
Be supportive to educational needs
Sound understanding of Primary and Secondary Education
Excellent literacy, Numeracy, and communication skills
Confidence supporting the KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4 curriculum
Experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum
Be a team player
Use initiative and good sense of humour
Experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties both in small groups and 1:1
Have a positive approach
Be flexible to the demands of the job
