Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant - Worthing, West Sussex. Are you a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant seeking a truly rewarding role? We're looking for an exceptional and compassionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our thriving school community in Worthing, West Sussex. We foster an environment where every pupil is challenged, stimulated, motivated, and equipped to achieve their full potential across all four areas of need: cognition and learning, communication, sensory and physical development, and social, emotional and mental health development. You'll be an integral part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team, working alongside speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and school nurses. Together, we help pupils overcome barriers to learning and celebrate every achievement. The Role: Making a Difference Every Day. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our pupils both individually and in small groups. You'll work closely with class teachers to implement highly personalised learning plans, assist with classroom activities, and contribute to a nurturing and engaging learning environment. We are specifically seeking candidates with demonstrable experience dealing with complex needs. Your expertise will be vital in supporting our pupils with diverse challenges, ensuring their well-being, safety, and access to all learning opportunities. Our Exceptional Facilities: Aquatic Therapy Pool (Hydrotherapy Pool); Forest School; Soft Play area; Sensory Rooms (including a dark room and immersive room); Library; Climbing Wall; Extensive Outdoor Areas; Rebound Therapy resources.
