Are you energetic, supportive, and ready to make a real splash in the lives of young people? we are looking for a fantastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team in a beautiful Milnthorpe Secondary School

Job Responsibility:

  • Support Learning: Assist in delivering the National Curriculum and examination support to individuals and small groups
  • Foster Relationships: Build constructive, professional relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Behaviour & Wellbeing: Implement behaviour management strategies and proactively safeguard the welfare of all students
  • Session Planning: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated sessions tailored to student needs, in small groups or 1:1
  • School Support: Assist with exam invigilation, record keeping, and lunchtime supervision, pastoral work of SEN Students

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in education setting
  • Qualification related to child care or special educational needs desirable
  • Able to communicate effectively and clearly with staff, children and families
  • Good understanding of child development
  • A sense of humour, flexibility and proportion to approach the post in a well-balanced way
  • Available full time
