Job Description:

An 'Outstanding' Primary School in Lambeth is hiring Social, Emotional, Mental Health Teaching Assistants to provide support to pupils from Reception to Year 6. Responsibilities include assisting pupils in the classroom, offering 1:1 and group support, and collaborating with staff and parents. Full-time, long-term positions start in September 2025.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting children in and out of the classroom
working with pupils on a 1:1 basis
acting as a buddy
providing school in-care and after-care
collaborating with parents, SLT, and social services.

Requirements:

Experience working with children
ability to inspire and motivate pupils
capability to provide 1:1 and group support
willingness to work with parents, SLT, and social services if required.
