Job Description:

We are a dedicated SEN secondary school in Smallfield providing a nurturing environment for students aged 11-16. Seeking passionate and resilient teaching assistants to join our team in long-term and supply roles. Our mission is to empower every student to reach their full potential academically socially and emotionally.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting students with social emotional and communication needs
Fostering self-esteem and belief in student abilities
Collaborating with colleagues families and specialists
Utilizing relational approach to behavior focusing on regulate relate and reason strategies
Commitment to positive behavior support and restorative approaches

Requirements:

Passion for inclusion supporting students with social emotional and communication needs
Empathy and understanding recognizing challenging behaviors stem from unmet needs
Collaborative spirit collaborating with colleagues families and specialists
Experience in teaching assistant roles
