Job Responsibility:

Collaborate with children individually or in small groups to enhance their learning
Serve as a positive role model for both students and colleagues
Foster positive relationships with children and their families
Collaborate with fellow staff members, including specialists
Assist the class teacher in resource preparation and activity setup
Help prepare a lesson and tidy the classroom afterwards
Support children across the curriculum and provide assistance with lesson plans
Give extra support to children with special needs
Help mark work and report on student progress
Help look after children during school trips, activities, or if they are unwell
Attend staff meetings and maintain effective communication

Requirements:

Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential
Proven history of working with young people in a learning environment
Comfortable managing challenging behavior and using positive reinforcement
Able to motivate children and show confidence in guiding small groups
Strong verbal communication skills and a positive, resilient attitude

health and social care experience
