Job Description

An Outstanding Specialist school local to you is looking for a vibrant and contentious teaching assistant to join there fun and friendly team. All applicants must be passionate, dedicated and committed to supporting learners in there learning journey and with there general well being, this is a school committed to supporting the whole child. Training will be provided by the school with regards to phonics, SEN knowledge and topic based learning. This role will include Whole class support, group support and 1:1 support so all applicants must be dedicated, inspiring and able to think on there feet.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting SEN KS1-KS2 learners on a 1:1, small group and classroom basis
  • Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events

Requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
  • Eligibility to work in the UK

Nice to have

  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent)
  • Flexible
  • Resilient
  • Positive approach to supporting learners with SEN
